Postdoctoral Associate, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
I am a mechanical engineer and computational materials researcher working at the intersection of molecular simulation, thermal transport, and data-driven materials discovery. My research connects molecular-scale mechanisms with predictive tools for liquids, polymers, interfaces, and energy materials.
Current Work at MIT
In Prof. Gang Chen's NanoEngineering Group, I study heat-conducting liquids through physical modeling, molecular dynamics, lattice-dynamics-inspired analysis, and emerging optical measurement workflows. The work examines how vibration, diffusion, molecular rearrangement, and hydrogen-bond exchange contribute to liquid heat capacity and thermal conductivity.
